The URL for this blog, http://yiraffyirheid.blogspot.com, is in recognition of my pal Brian's assessment of my mental state with respect to returning to the 'Path of Pain' for another season of aches, blisters, knackered knees, mosquitos and peregrino menus. However it is early days yet and I might be lucky and break a leg before the 22nd of July, the launch date.
The reason though for starting this blog early is to put a stamp on the day on which mi amigo Mark once again entered Santiago de Compostela, probably in the rain, probably in pain and probably saying never again.
Well done the man and make sure you book the Hotel Suza for next year.
